DEREK ERWIN
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Derek has 27 years’ experience in commercial real estate both in agency and development.
He first joined CBRE in 1995, working in brokerage and management until 2003, when he was lured into development, first with Valad Property Group then at his own development group, before returning to Capital Markets and sitting on the NSW Board with Knight Frank in 2011. After 5 years of being Knight Frank’s leading national income earner, Derek was head hunted by JLL in 2016 to head up Urban Development – Capital Markets.

This lead to the creation of Ironstone in 2019 with Scott Coltman, which is a unique, integrated service for our clients.”
Derek’s main focus is deal origination, due diligence, financial assessment, capital markets, deal structuring, investor engagement, development management, project strategy, project sales and overall business strategy.
Derek holds a Bachelor of Business in Property from the University of South Australia and a Real Estate Corporation License.
SCOTT COLTMAN
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Scott has a genuine passion for property development and the building industry and creating sustainable working and living environments.
Scott spent 10 years at Walker Corporation where he fulfilled several roles ranging from Contracts, Design, Project, and Development Management and successfully delivered several major infrastructure/ industrial developments. Running large development sites, Scott understands the importance of delivering on time and on budget to client expectations and this has transpired into the development mindset that Ironstone Property Group delivers projects today.
Following Scott’s time at Walker Corporation, he joined the growing Taylor Construction Group to start their Industrial Project and Development team. Scott grew a successful Industrial team over a 7 year period where he delivered projects for all major REITs and Occupiers. Scott’s dedication to understanding his client’s brief, needs and budgets as well as key deliverables for their tenants made Taylor Construction Group one of the prominent Industrial builders in the market in that period.

Myles has more than 10 years investment and advisory experience covering investment management, capital raising and risk management gained at global banks, non-banks and real estate advisory firms. His main areas of responsibility include; feasibility modelling, investment management, capital markets, project budget management and research.
